To clarifiy: Piracy!= Breaking Terms of Service. Pirating intellectual property is not the same as violating a company's terms of service. The former has a chance of landing you in jail, the latter could at most result in a civil suit with a fine (in the USA anyway). Piracy goes directly against the forum rules. Violating a TOS does not.
Luckily this greatly simplifies what you as a poster needs to remember about piracy and this forum. Piracy is simply theft. Don't talk about stealing something, whether you've done it, or are going to do it. If you have obtained what you're talking about in a way the law would consider stealing, you're violating the piracy rule. Talking about violating a company's TOS with your legally obtained equipment and software does not violate this rule. If it did, there'd be no reason for this forum to exist. I've been trying for the past couple of days to gets WiiSX running but have just not been having luck. I got the emulator working, I can get to the menu's, but I always get a 'failed to load ISO' error when I try to load one of the games. Right now I'm just trying out Twisted Metal 2. It's got it's own folder named 'Twisted Metal 2' under WiiSX>ISOS that has a.bin for each track then a.cue.
Is that where the problem lies? Because I've also tried just a.bin and still nothing. I'm on Mac OS X Yosemite and the.bin for the ISOs and BIOS always show up with a zipped icon. Unarchiver and other programs I've downloaded that should be able to unzip, have not been able to. I also tried an unzip command in terminal as I've seen some sites suggest but nothing.
Can anyone help me out with what I'm doing wrong? No, I suppose that was a bit of misinformation. Yeah you should leave it in the isos folder.
I see that the PAL version has been tested and confirmed working. But nothing about NTSC-U. Maybe try a different source image, could be a bad dump. Or maybe a different game? Just to make sure that it's at least working properly for some game(s). I'd try to use a straight.iso image instead of the.bin/.cue route since it supports that format as well. Also finding a SCPH1002.bin and adding it could help.
Because if it's not that and you don't have the write lock on the card on, I'm assuming you have games playing fine from your Nintendont setup, so its not the SD card speed. It's truly a mystery.
