If you follow the instructions it will install fine, BUT, it probably wont run on any newer PC’s.

Its just too old of a game, i got it installed fine, serial and crack worked fine but ran into other issues trying to run it. Unfortunately the Battle For Middle Earth games are classics that need to be updated to run well on newer machines. Lets hope GOG gets a hold of them.
